Completely correct and documented R-code 428CJ; factory options included the C-6 automatic transmission, air conditioning, in-dash tachometer and rally clock. Finished in uncommon “Indian Fire” paint, it is one of only four 428s built in this color and option combination, according to the Marti Report. The car has a traceable history and has resided in New Mexico and Colorado for most of its life.
It was professionally restored over twenty years ago and still looks fresh today, having been largely a garage queen since then. A photo file shows a straight, undamaged/unrusted car during the restoration process. The original engine was overhauled to factory specs in 2005, with no aftermarket or ‘hop-up’ parts installed, and it has been driven less than 1000 miles since. The car runs and drives like it did when new and even the A/C works!
Just out of a collection where it was enjoyed for fifteen years and now available for its next caretaker. This is an excellent opportunity to take advantage of the current market, which has softened in recent years from when these cars were $100K not long ago! $76,500
