This classic 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL received a partial restoration about 5 years ago at another shop. Like many projects that are brought to us, many items on the car were left incorrectly unfinished, including gauge problems and poor fitting trim to name a few. We call these projects The Last 5% - and we're very good at it.
These 190SLs are the younger sibling to the iconic 300SL - also known as the Gullwing in the coupe setup.
We removed all of the gauges for repair and restoration, installed seat belts, and sanded and polished the exterior. The lower right rocker panel was also repaired and painted to match. Now the car is buttoned up and ready for cruising.
