Introduced at Geneva in 1966, the GT400 was a very capable touring car, reaching 150 mph. A 2+2 setup, the rear seats were semi-usable. It offered more power and seating than the 350GT that preceded it. Its classic twin set of two headlights complemented classic Italian styling.
The 320-hp 3929-cc Bizzarini-designed six-Weber V-12 was matched to a 5-speed gearbox. Quiet and very drivable, it was compared favorably to Ferrari vehicles of the same era.
