While we don’t often get our hands on “race cars” this project was too good for our team to pass up. This classic 1973 Porsche 911T spent many years sitting in boxes before the current owner picked the car up in the early 2000s and began getting the car back together as a 1972 Carrera RS tribute. Over the last 18 years this Porsche has seen extensive racing experience at events like the Rennsport Reunions and many track days at prominent tracks around the United States.
The car is incredibly original, with no indications of body damage. Our Porsche restoration team will be cleaning it up, saving a few of the stickers from this stripped livery and getting this German classic back to the iconic Guards Red for the numerous track days ahead! Once we’ve completed the fit-and-finish, the 911 will be heading back down to the Florida race shop to have the 2.7L engine reinstalled!
