Mechanical Restoration

Performance Preserved

Bringing Legends to Life

We believe your restored car should run as good as it looks. Farland Classic Restoration offers complete mechanical services from oil changes and minor tune-ups all the way to stock drive train overhauls and modern crate engine installations.

Watching a talented mechanic at his best is a remarkable thing. That was the the case when our mechanic Steve did a complete service on the Flat-12 engine in a 1986 Ferrari Testarossa. Relentlessly Italian, the Flat-12 is no easy piece of machinery. From nimbly taking it apart, to checking every single moving part, to replacing cam belts and more, our guys have a 6th sense of mechanics. Click on the Testarossa project for more information. In the video to the right, you can see the fine-tuning of a very complex Ferrari 250GT engine.

One of our specialties is keeping the classic cars running on long rallies. An example is the Colorado Grand. It’s a 1000-mile rally across the state. As you can imagine, keeping a mid-50s or 60s car running in the hot summer over mountain passes can be a challenge. So the fact that we’ve successfully campaigned 14 rallies does the mechanical talking for us. To the right is a previous video about the Arnolt Bristol project.
