1962 BMW Isetta

Sold

This car is here as part of Farland's archive and proof of work.

The BMW isetta was an icon of its era.

This classic microcar was built by a few different manufacturers throughout the late 1950s and early 1960s with some small variations between brands.

To this day the Isetta continues to be the most sold single-cylinder car of all time.

Many nowadays know the Isetta as the ‘Urkel-mobile’.

The final iterations were built by BMW.

This car was recently purchased by a new owner.

On the drive home the seat made contact with the battery and caused a small electrical fire, to which the owner responded “did I do that?” Of course, this was a previously mishandled repair by another shop and now our techs will be carefully rewiring this micro-classic.
