When the cars were new, XKE roadsters far outsold the coupes, but today, because there’s fewer of them, coupes are in high demand (but not the 2+2s).

This car’s Heritage Certificate confirms it was built in Jaguar’s Carmen Red/with unusual matching Red interior and that it still has its original engine (which was rebuilt 2K miles ago).

The car has lived a quiet, accident and rust-free life here in Colorado and is very much a survivor.

We believe the 68K is actual mileage and it’s had only three owners.

We sold the car to the present owner ten years ago and have helped care for it since.

Our shop did a complete interior restoration a few years ago, replacing all the leather, carpets, headliner and door cards to a very high level and it still presents as new.

The paint is largely original, but has some fade, scratches & minor dings, but still polished up pretty well.

Although the car could certainly be enjoyed as-is for a while longer, we assume the next owner will be thinking of not only new paint, but likely a color change as well.

The red interior will lend itself dramatically to a new exterior in dark blue, metallic gray, black or even white for great contrast opportunities.

Of course, our shop would be a great choice for a paint job once you're ready to undertake that project.

The original Dunlop chrome wire wheels are in great condition, but the tires are aged (new ones are included), plus we will be doing a general tune-up and servicing.
