This 2002 has a documented history and IS confirmed a genuine tii.
It is very original with a great interior that was correctly restored some years ago and had one repaint in the original Colorado Orange color.
It’s never been a battered old rust bucket and an independent inspection by a 2002 expert pronounced it very solid and damage-free.
Strut towers, inner fenders and floors are all in great shape.
That same inspection found excellent compression & leak down results at 140 psi & 5-6% across all cylinders.
The engine had been rebuilt years ago, but the car has seen little use since.
The current owner bought the car in 2012 and has enjoyed keeping it up.
Our shop has just installed new bumpers and polished the paint, plus the recent tires & battery make it ready for the next owner to enjoy the fun of one of the most responsive analog cars ever built.
Other recent work included Bilstein shocks, driveshaft coupler and OEM-style exhaust.
Note the absence of aftermarket junk, original wheels with trim caps and the beautiful dash, seats & headliner.
The spare (w/new matching tire) is in the trunk with the usual tools.
