1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am

The 1978 Pontiac Trans Am is one of the most iconic American muscle cars, particularly renowned for its starring role in pop culture and its striking design.

As part of the second generation of Firebirds, the Trans Am was Pontiac's performance model, standing out with its bold styling, powerful engines, and aggressive stance.

The 1978 Trans Am was visually bold, featuring the "screaming chicken" firebird decal on the hood, which became an iconic symbol of the car.

The front end had quad rectangular headlights, a split grille, and sleek aerodynamic lines, giving it a muscular yet refined look.

It also had a T-top roof option, which allowed for that classic wind-in-your-hair cruising experience.

This example is a Canada-delivered version that the original owner drove to Winnipeg to pick up.

Still under the same ownership, this stunning time-capsule was in for mechanical check-up, new gaskets, fluids and the like.
