The F430 was the last 8-cylinder Ferrari model to be more sports car and less computer.
It still has a conventional turn signal lever (!) instead of fussy buttons.
It was the first new-generation Ferrari to have timing chains instead of belts so maintenance is less rigorous, plus it features styling cues from the Enzo (and doesn’t look like a C8 Corvette).
The F430 has an all-aluminum unibody & chassis, a 483-horsepower engine and third-generation F1 transaxle with E-Diff that has proven to be reliable and very sophisticated working in tandem with the electric power steering.
